Our 40 seat café area is run by owners Phil Kember and head chef Claire Jones. We are open all day from 8am until 6pm. From 9am on the weekends and late nights on Thursdays and Fridays until 10pm. We have a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere and we do not operate a reservations policy so just come along and enjoy the good food, coffee and wine. We are dog friendly as long as your dog is well behaved. Our menu is influenced by recipes from our favourite cookbooks. The dishes are inspired time spent in Europe and North Africa by the fresh produce in store. We concentrate on simple flavours the quality of each ingredient. We run an all day breakfast menu and our lunch menu starts from 11.30 am. We have many gluten free, vegan and plant based options available. Daily seasonal specials appear on our blackboards including soups, salads, bruschettas, savoury tarts and hot specials including Fishcakes, Lamb Tagine and Beef Bourguignon.

We concentrate on producing and sourcing highest quality food possible. The café acts as a showcase for the products we sell in the shop and deli counter.

Almost everything served in the café is available to take-away or buy.

Kember & Jones has become one of Glasgow’s most popular eateries with queues throughout the day for breakfasts, lunch, afternoon teas and dinner.


Breakfast favourites include; our own Sourdough Toast, Homemade Granola with fresh berries and natural yoghurt and Vanilla Poached Pears with Greek yoghurt and Honey. Our own signature espresso blend 100% Arabica coffee is served throughout the day, made by one of our expert baristas.


Mid morning our scones are hard to resist, there are usually three varieties baked each morning, choose from Cranberry, Blueberry, Cheddar or Feta and Basil. Lunch is a busy time at K&J, favourites include “Cannellini Bean Soup“, “Tomato, Basil and Mozzarella Baguette” and “Warm Goats cheese salad with sun blush tomatoes, pesto and toasted pine nuts“.


Afternoons are a popular time to sample our range of home baked cakes and tarts; try a slice of Pistachio, cardamom and orange tart or maybe a piece of Espresso, Hazelnut and walnut cake. Evenings; Sample one of our platters choosing from French, Spanish, Italian or British and enjoy a bottle of wine from our superbly chosen list.
