We source and stock the highest quality foods and most interesting kitchenware and cookbooks.
Our licensed café, with it's relaxed and friendly atmosphere, serves Illy coffee and offers delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners all inspired by the continental products stocked in the shop.
Our small team of pastry chefs work tirelessly to produce an amazing array of home baked cakes and tarts.

Our 30 seat café area is run by owner and head chef Claire Jones. We are open all day, 7 days a week and every evening except Sundays.
We have a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere and we don not operate a reservations policy so just come along and enjoy the good food, coffee and wine.
Our menu is influenced by the products we sell in the shop and the recipes from our favourite cookbooks. The dishes are inspired time spent in Europe and North Africa by the fresh produce in store. We concentrate on simple flavours the quality of each ingredient.
Daliy seasonal specials appear on our blackboards including soups, salads, bruschettas and savoury tarts.
Breakfast favourites include; Poilane Toast, Homemade Granola with fresh berries and natural yoghurt and Pancakes with ricotta and honeycomb.
Illy coffe is served throughout the day, made by one of our expert baristas.
Mid morning our scones are hard to resist, there are usually three varieties baked each morning, choose from Cranberry, Blueberry, Cheddar or Feta and Basil.
Lunch is a busy time at K&J, favourites include "Cannellini Bean Soup", "Tomato, Basil and Buffalo Mozzarella Baguette" and "Warm Goats cheese salad with sun blush tomatoes, pesto and toasted pine nuts".
Afternoons are a popular time to sample our range of home baked cakes and tarts; try a slice of Pistachio, cardamom and orange tart or maybe a piece of Espresso, Hazelnut and walnut cake.
Evenings; Sample one of out platters choosing from French, Spanish, Italian or British and enjoy a bottle of wine from our superbly chosen list.

The doors to K & J were opened on June 4th 2004 by owners Claire Jones from Glasgow and Phil Kember from Portsmouth.
We set up our Fine Food Emporium to provide a destination for people to enjoy high quality food to eat and buy.
We concentrate on producing and sourcing the best and most interesting food possible. The café acts as a showcase for the products we sell in the shop and deli counter.
Almost everything served in the café is available to takeaway or buy.
Kember & Jones has become one of Glasgow's most popular eateries with queues throughout the day for breakfasts, lunch, afternoon teas and dinner.
Our future plans include the introduction of a range of Kember & Jones branded products including pestos, tapenades, salad dressings, granola and biscotis.
